Estyn Report

We are extremely proud to share the publication of our most recent Estyn inspection report. As a school community, we feel the report reflects the dedication, care, and commitment shown every day by our pupils, staff, governors, parents, and wider community in making Arddleen truly “our school.”

We are delighted that the report recognised the warm, nurturing ethos of our school, the strong sense of community, and the positive relationships that underpin learning and wellbeing at Arddleen.

Here are just a few of the comments highlighted within the 2025 Estyn report:

We were also especially proud that Estyn chose to include a Spotlight section celebrating the importance of Wales, Welsh language, and Cynefin within our curriculum. Inspectors recognised the pride our pupils and staff have in being part of a school in Wales and highlighted the rich opportunities pupils have to develop their Welsh language skills and understanding of their local area and heritage.

As a school, we remain fully committed to continuing our journey of improvement and ensuring that every child at Arddleen feels safe, valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their very best, because together, we care, we listen, we learn.
